RR Gym — Fitness & Strength for FiveM (Qbox / QBCore)

Watch the video

rr-gym v1.1.2 for Qbox, with QBCore through the bridge.

Your players walk up to a bench, press E, and their character sits on the end, lies back and presses the bar. On the chin-up tower they reach up and pull with their hands on the bar. There is no minigame and no floating player. The athlete lines up on the equipment that is already on your map, at any angle.

Muscle Beach at Vespucci Beach comes set up the first time you start the server: ten stations on the outdoor gear. Each workout raises Strength or Stamina, saved per character, with a daily cap and slow decay so it means something. Admins can add a gym anywhere from an in-game dashboard without typing a single coordinate.

Features

  • 8 exercises: bench press, chin-ups, barbell curls, dumbbell curls, push-ups, sit-ups, treadmill and yoga

  • Lines the athlete up on the real gear: the vanilla benches, racks, chin-up towers and treadmills, including the static gear at Muscle Beach

  • Gets on and off like a person: the game's own sit-down, lie-back, reach-up and stand-up clips

  • Props in the right hands: the bar across both hands on the bench, a curl bar, one dumbbell in each hand. All cleaned up after the set

  • Muscle Beach ready on first start (10 stations), or add it to an existing server with one console command

  • Strength and Stamina with configurable effects: melee bonus, climb speed, sprint time, optional run speed. Yoga eases stress

  • Progression with limits: diminishing returns, a daily fatigue cap and slow decay for skipped days

  • Server-authoritative: reps are rate-checked and distance-checked on the server and stored in MySQL per character

  • Player dashboard (/fitness): stats, workout history, city leaderboard

  • Admin dashboard (/gymadmin): place equipment anywhere in seconds, spawn a bench, rack, mat or treadmill outside an MLO, fine-tune the pose and props live

  • Rep counter on screen, X to stop early and keep your reps, /gymstop as a safety net

  • Statebags and exports so any HUD can show the stats

Requirements

  • ox_lib

  • oxmysql

  • Qbox (qbx_core), or QBCore (qb-core) through the bridge

Install

  1. Put rr-gym in your resources and add ensure rr-gym after ox_lib, oxmysql and your core.
  2. Start the server. The tables create themselves, and Muscle Beach is set up with ten stations.
  3. Already have rr-gym spots? Run gympreset Muscle Beach in the server console. It skips anything already there.
  4. Admins add more gyms in game with /gymadmin.

What you can change

Config.Framework ('qbx' or 'qb'), Presets, Progression, Effects, Set (reps per set), Equipment, and KnownProps to add your MLO's gym models.

Good to know

Stations line up on known gear models: the flat benches, chin-up towers, racks and treadmills. Leg machines and the rack bench with uprights at Muscle Beach do not get a station. Add other models to KnownProps.
